THE PLAYHOUSE at Rodney Square, Wilmington, DE - November 23, 2019

I don't believe I've ever been to Delaware, much less performed there. We had two shows here--and the theater space was VERY limited, which made things stressful for the cast and especially the crew. It didn't help that the local crew (the people who are hired by the theater to help load and work on the show just for the time we're there) was rude and not helpful to our crew! Usually, by the time we (the cast) pull into the theater to get ready for the show, the set is all put together and most everything is ready to go. As you will see in some of the photos--that was not the case here in Delaware. NOT our crews fault.  

But we all pulled together and did our best. The space wasn't terrible, but just cramped. Lots of history in the theater, though. Very cool signatures all over, and lots of show posters hanging throughout the building.

Utica, NY

STANLEY THEATRE, Utica, NY - November 22, 2019

This was our first stop of the year to a place where we've previously played. I loved the Stanley Theatre when we were here a few years ago, and it is still very cool.

Some facts about the Stanley -- all from their website:

Originally built to be a movie palace, the Stanley opened on September 10, 1928. Dubbed "Mexican Baroque", the Stanley's design features include a gold leaf interior and terra cotta and tiled mosaic on the exterior facade, which calls to mind the Mexican influence, while ornate gilded Habsburg lions, Indian faces, angels and cherubs featured in the interior are common Baroque motifs.
It has a grand entry staircase that resembles the main staircase on the Titanic, and Moorish influence is also evident in the sprinkling of stars covering the domed ceiling and the twisted columns flanking the stage.
The chandelier is the world's largest LED free-hanging chandelier. Completely custom made, it is crafted of steel, blown glass and acrylic. It weighs 7,000 pounds, is 35 feet in diameter and 17 feet tall, and is hand finished in antique gold and bronze.

Burlington, VT

VT FLYNN CENTER, Burlington, VT - November 21, 2019

After leaving Madison, WI, we flew to Burlington, VT via Chicago. Most of us rented mini-vans so that we could go visit the Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream Factory the next day; which we did.

A group of nearly 20 of the cast and crew went in 3 vans (much cheaper than taking Uber rides there and back) to this fun little factory. There weren't that many people there; being as it was mid-November AND there were several inches of snow still on the ground.

At this moment, I cannot find any of the pictures I took at the factory, so that'll have to wait--not that it was that exciting.

We actually had several days off while in Burlington. I got lots of rest, watched the snow, did some shopping. It snowed beautifully one of the days, and I snapped some photos of the look afterward.
