Midland Center for the Arts
Friday & Saturday, November 19-20, 2021
What a great relief Midland was! Firstly, it's a beautiful town. Our hotel in Benton Harbor wasn't that great and it was far away from any restaurants, and the disaster of a performance we had didn't leave a great feeling in our souls. But the main street just outside our hotel in Midland had some amazing food and shopping options.
We drove less than 200 miles from Benton Harbor to Midland on Friday afternoon, it was a beautiful drive through some beautiful countryside. Look up the H Hotel in Midland and you'll see why we were excited to visit here. Beautiful and classic hotel.
Our crowds were terrific, well-sold, and our shows were better. The Bumble is still broken, and that is no fun, but we're doing the best we can. I'm certainly hoping we'll continue in this positive direction overall.
Those are some GREEN seats, eh? Crazy. Another nice theater with plenty of space but not a lot of personality. Don't keep your expectations too low, because the theater in St. Louis, Missouri (we'll be there Dec 17-18) will blow your mind. Don't spoil the excitement by looking it up before I get there--just trust me, it'll be amazing.
More to come!
